Oh, boy do I love this little guy and his strong, supportive family. They are doing an amazing job keeping his life full of fun and adventure since the unexpected passing of his adoring mama. I love that they are continuing the tradition of family photos, even while their hearts are grieving. I have been photographing Garrett since he was a fresh little newborn.

The weather really decided to show off during this session. The wind was really ripping and it was bitter cold! Grandma said we could blame her for the brilliant idea. Haha! It really added to the sense of adventure and brought us lots of laughter as Grandma’s hair was whipping in the wind. I think it truly was a brilliant idea – we had a great time! I always look forward to the sweet conversations with one of my favorite boys — and his goodbye hugs fill my bucket for days.
